That's probably best, especially since you're throwing stones from another country that has it's own share of problems.

 

No one gets banned just for being a dealer. You have to act like a dealer while on the board, such as offering cars by PM or pumping some car or other, to be banned.

In the particular caseof Todd 05F430F1 he was permanently banned recently due to pumping the Ferrari market, which was a final straw on a stack of caustic and antagonistic postings over many years.

All of these posts are considered political and will result in moderation, from warnings to bans. Warnings posted to these user accounts.

I never saw Todd selling a car and he never PM'd me trying to sell a car. I never knew he worked at a car dealer until late last years when he was setting facts straight on certain auction sights and then i never knew what dealer he even worked at until I personally asked him.

 

I agree. He was unceremoniously banned (permanently) for no apparent reason in that thread. Several members agreed (@mkraft3003) as well, including you. I felt it should have been a thread ban worse case. Even looking back on that thread I fail to see an infraction. I made a comment to the fact and it was deleted. So that told me all I needed to know. I have a hunch but I'll leave it at that. A lot of us miss our brother Todd.

 

Where does it say in the terms anything about "pumping" the Ferrari market? He was simply giving his opinion on the market. Nothing more, nothing less.

Love the Capristo glass engine cover. Was the Ferrari lettering already on your engine bay? I can't remember if it is standard or not.
And you didn't need to put anything on the bare carbon bits, did they come with clear coat already applied?

 

Lettering was already there. I put clear PPF on all the carbon parts on the car. Probably not necessary up there, but since everything else was getting it, I did it there as well.

 

They banned Todd?! I almost met up with him in Miami at the end of January but it was a short trip and our work schedules didn't allow it. This site is out of control sometimes. Not that he even did, but pumping Ferrari would be a good thing for most of us, I assume.

 

Last week-end, I went to a pre-season training in case (maybe unlikely, I'm not so sure) I would resume (partially) Caterham racing this year. Since the track is about 15 miles from home, it was a good opportunity to take out the 488 for the first time of the year.
