New season started the Mar 01, 2025 weekend.
    Sprint and race.

    Thailand.
The old man :) , Marc Marquez, hats off to him.
His brother Alex, also on a Ducati, will he be a podium contender?
Bag, just getting warmed up for the season?

Sure miss # 1 Jorge, hope he recovers 100%
Yamaha, my underdog, wishing the team success.
And KTM company woes, wonder how this will play out for MotoGP.

No spoilers.....yet I still haven't heard what happened to M Marq around lap 7.
    Any co-member here know?

    Race # 2 completed Mar 16, 2025.
    Marquez's ... no spoilers....something in the water?
Honda, appears their bike is improving, that's good news.
Missing Jorge, his recovery must be difficult, so sorry, and best wishes.
And Bag, not sure why his performance is a bit down...something in water :)

Another sprint win... the season is long, but will anyone be able to challenge Marc Marquez in his quest for a new title ?

I think this is one of those seasons where we get to sit back and enjoy just how good Marc is. I don’t think anyone but Marc can threaten his season.

Unforced error - the rider in second position was not a real threat...
Alex Marquez is now leading the championship

Once again, Marc Marquez was beaten by Marc Marquez. This isn't the first time he's thrown away a win at COTA.

Texas, yee-haw, some type of start grid with wet to slicks.
    Great drama... LOL.
If Formula 1, I'd wager there would be penalties, so I am a little surprised, at this time, I have heard of none.

Yeah, M Mar threw it away.
    Great for Bag though.
Also, I have referred to M Mar as the old man, yet he is only 32? Old man is a joke/ ribbing to Marc :) .

Last year, I recall that M Mar was crashing way too much.
I hope this is not going to be a tendency for this year; IMO just a millimeter off-line on a wet curb was his "downfall" .

And Alex M. is leading the championship (1 point); ... some have always said consistency matters!

    Spain, April 27 2025.
    Hats off to Yamaha.
    "Semi" spolier below.

I hope Yam actually has the power, and it was not the track design.
Just great that Yam is breaking the Duc dominance.
Pole and leading sprint & race.
I am pleased Quat is competitive.
    And what happened to Bag?
He doesn't seem to have "it" anymore.
Are the Marq's that much better?

I think Marc Marquez is the biggest problem for Bagnaia - as the outgoing champion, being challenged by the newcomer in the team is certainly disturbing. Then Alex Marquez benefits from the fact that he has no pressure (unlike his brother and Bagnaia, who are in the official team and are the ones supposed to fight for the crown) to achieve good results.
And yes, having Quartararo / Yamaha in the mix is good to spice up things.

I "love" the totally botched coverage by FS1. The sprint race recording was the last 9 laps of the main race. This was followed by the first 5 laps of the sprint race. No trace of the final part of the sprint race.

The main race recording was 30 minutes of pickle ball followed by the first 16 laps of the main race. Bunch of GD idiots!!!

FWIW I can commiserate with Hocakes.
Leaving a VR on automated recording will miss coverage.

So, I always research the future coverage and TV schedules the best I can to keep "on top" of the automation..
Plus have similar issues with the cars, F1, especially the pre-race shows.

Coverage was MUCH better on Max last year, especially since you could on demand any part of the weekend. It was better previously on NBC/CNBC. On the earlier races this year the races were at least there, but they will drop in a commerical in the middle of someone talking for no reason. Now the race itself is messed up.

No contact info on Fox Sports website. Contact Moto GP and they said contact your broadcaster and (big surprise) you can buy the Moto GP season pass. I told them they would have better ability to contact Fox Sports than I would, that it would carry more weight coming from them, & they might care that their product is getting wrecked here. That is apparently too much to ask for.
