Not the same. The first one listed had five point harnesses, the one I listed was US spec.

I can confirm the one I posted was in Indiana a few days ago.

Wow- super close spec, I just assumed that the harnesses are something that can be swapped out. I just noticed the wheels are different as well, thanks for the correction!

I heard thru a third party that the SP3 went for a trade-in of a (one of one in the US) PTS 918 + $3M in cash.

I saw the 918 on the road and posted on their IG feed, as well as buyer of the SP3 posted thanks to GRP on IG and has a big Porsche background, so it all seems to check out.

    The long way home
Euro cars trade around that range in €.

US market it significantly stronger. rmmcdaniel's post is accurate and puts the SP3s in the $6s in the US.

I know of a SP3 private sale for over $6M USD and I don’t believe you can buy an Sp3 in the US for $4-$4.5M. Also heard about a SP2 selling for $4mm a couple of weeks ago, but can’t personally vouch for that sale even though it came from a person I consider reliable.

I don’t believe you can buy one for $4-4.5m anywhere not just in the US…

Were they exposed color carbon cars or at least tailor made examples?

I'm.not going to speak as an expert on the subject.... But it's my understanding... That if you got one... They were all tailor made... If you didn't choose enough options you just didn't get one or rather the order wasn't accepted.

One has plenty of special equipment and the other one wasn't carbon but unaware of the spec. It was one of those moments where you don't ask sorta thing

I can confirm that when I got an allocation there was absolutely no condition about the amount of options I was supposed to take.
At this level of price, you can do what you want.

I appreciate you answering. I figured there was a high probability of you being in the EU based on your name but obviously didn't want to make an assumption.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a difference between how the US handled it and the rest of the world.

The three people that I know that were given allocations all did extreme levels of customization between custom colors, materials, dream lines and the bare and tinted carbon.

It was known that if you were to get a few of the previous special cars you did have to order x amount in options here in the US. Such as carbon wheels or a triple layer white vs regular white etc ...

Now I'm curious... Perhaps I'll reach out to them to confirm if they were required or led to order high spec high customization or if they did it on their own.
