Lowering my Pista

Looks real nice! Did you have spacers installed as well? It looks like the stock wheels are sitting a little more flush with the wheel wells.

Anyone with capristos 11mm/17mm set? They comes with titanium bolts, thats our pistas has from factory and I want to stay that way. Also, they are nicer.
Looking for lowering 15mm, maybe 20mm max with oem springs and adding those spacers.
Car was ordered with front lifter.
Don’t want to lower more because I’m aware of difusser ground clearance.. In my country there are to many speed bumps and ramps..
It’s annoying the SUV look from factory!!! Also when is parked next to my gt2rs! (Perfect standing!)
Also will install the carbon fiber oem wheels.
Side pic is entering my building ramp and difusser only gets 3 fingers of clearance.

It took me several years, but I finally got around to adding wheel spacers and having a dealer lowering/alignment performed, I’m stunned by the outcome and feel like an idiot for not doing it sooner. The visuals have been completely transformed. It’s insane that the car does not come the factory like this.

By the way, i went with the same spacers that I used for my 812 GTS, 11mm in the front and 17mm in the rear. Finally, the dealer lowered the car as much as they could and still have it be within factory guidelines. I did not change the springs. I think my dealer said they dropped it 3mm. To my eye it looks perfect.

You must have heard wrong....3mm is 1/10 of an inch, you literally couldn't see such a minute difference.

 

I love the way it sits. Beautiful.

 

Stance is on point. Looks like more than 3 MM

 

Looks great Cadster. FoATL lowered mine (F8) as well on stock springs and added spacers when I took delivery.

Lowered 18mm front/21mm rear and aligned
10mm spacers front/15mm spacers rear

With the lowering I’d suggest not driving in bumpy mode. Definitely an increased chance of scraping the rear diffuser.

 

Looks great. The car needs spacers but I’m hesitant to give up the titanium wheel bolts. Did you find longer bolts in titanium for spacers or just go without?

 

You don’t need to give up titanium wheel bolts to use spacers. I have the same width spacers on my 296 as Thecadster’s (11 and 17mm) and have extended titanium bolts.
