I have a 2.0 liter coupe (1967) that starts and runs very well. Carbs rebuilt recently. Ignition is new - MSD and Pertronix trigger, wires.
However, with the warm idle set at 800 rpm, when I come to a stop, the engine revs drop and it dies unless I blip the throttle.

Nearly everything in the car is new, having just finished a lengthy restoration:
New fuel tank, gold top Bendix pump, all lines, FilterKing filter, etc.

    Thoughts?

Recheck the carburetor float heights and drops.

How does it idle after start-up cold? .. and how does it idle after start-up hot?

.. or idle air mixture setting?

I am having a similar problem having just rebuilt the carbs. I'm sending the set to Dinopoint for a bench set up in a few weeks. I'll let you know what they find.

To me its a fuel starvation issue caused by heat in the carbs. I don't believe its electrical.

The other possibility is too much oil vapor from the crankcase while idling.

I was told the correct air cleaner is really critical also. I'm sending them the entire air cleaner and filter for evaluation.

I'm also chasing the power drop off at 3000 RPM also, which I also believe is carb related. But I am sending the Distributor to them also for set up and conversion to electronic ignition in case that is also an issue.

Hot and cold start idles are good. And I'm getting a nice tan color on the plugs.

I apologize if you now this already. If you are checking your sparkpugs for color after the engine has been idling - for even a short amount of time - there is a possibility that your mixture is set too lean. The ideal condition is to go WOT, then shut engine down, then check plug color.

Tan color on the plugs is seen only after driving it fully warmed up....and giving it the beans a little.

I would check floats . There is an air bypass adjustments on webers make sure all your carbs are balanced at rest . they should suck the same amount of air. I would also check the fuel pressure
