I just bought an Elise on Long Island and will be driving it home to the Albany area soon. The car just had the rear clam replaced and the owner had the whole car repainted so it would match. It looks new, and I’d like to keep it that way. I got a quote from the dealer to install ppf and figured it’d get some other quotes. I’m guessing they sub that work out, but I don’t know to who. I was wondering if there was anyone else that does quality installs of this in western LI, Westchester, or the Hudson valley/albany?l that I should get a quote from.

I've had work done by them and I've had work done by other shops, including dealer subbed out work. There was no comparison. You might be on a bit of a wait to get the car in there but if you want to keep the car for a long time and don't want to see imperfections every time you take it out, give them a serious consideration.

Thanks. I’ll get a quote from them. Bedford hills is very close to my parents house so it wouldn’t even be a big inconvenience. What was your turn around time once your car got into the shop?

I think it was around 2 weeks. They take their time and would rather turn you away than give you a product they won’t be proud of. I’m not exaggerating when I say that their workspace is clean enough to eat off every surface.

They work on all kinds of stuff - Porsches, older cars, Ferrari SP2s etc and they never have a lack of demand. Dm me if you like about who to avoid and why.

Just to close the loop on this one, I dropped my car off at Touch of Glass in Bedford Hills as recommended above. The facility was impressive and they had some cool cars in there getting done. Looking forward to picking it up next week.

Picked the car up this week. It was about 8 days from dropoff to pickup. Very happy with the work. Communication was great. They sent pics throughout the process. Their quote was about equivalent to the quote I got from the dealer (maybe better I’m- not sure if the dealer would have charged sales tax), except the dealer said they wouldn’t pull any lights, grills, etc, so I feel like I got a better quality job from them vs the dealer.
