Looking for a 458 Italia to add to the stable. Preferences below: MY: 2013-2015 Exterior color: Blue, Green, Silver, Gray, darker shades of red. Not interested in black, white or red. Interior color: open Key must have options: carbon buckets, suspension lifter Nice options: carbon fiber packages, LED Steering wheel, JBL sound Mods: considered on a case by case basis located in SF Bay Area but willing to travel for the right car. thanks all.
Any reason why front lift is required? The 458 was the first generation of Berlinetta that offered it and only about half the cars were optioned with it. 430 and prior they were able to live without a lift. The 458 doesn’t have a long overhanging lip like 991/981 and later Porsche GT cars where it’s necessary to get through gutters without having the lip fall off. The 458 is really more like a M3 in that regard. Do you have an unusually steep and narrow driveway e.g. in SF?
Thanks for the info and comparison to other cars. I don't need a front lift for access to my driveway and garage but being in SF, I've found it to be helpful when entering other garages / curbs / parking. I should change it to a nice to have as I don't necessarily need it.
Also adding that I’m favoring a spider over a berlinetta at the moment so please feel free to send info on those as well. Thanks.
