    I don't know it.

Looks a bit scruffy in the pics. Rear guard lip pulled down from the oversize tyres I suspect. Interior looks horrid, what's with the plastic trim looking oxidised?

It's an early car, will not have the revised suspension pick up points, battery will be in the left rear 1/4 (What were they thinking) and the earlier charging system. It is Motronic 2.5 which I like, you can basically get around it with a multimeter. Has been repainted, you can see the incorrect lower body section in red, it should be matte black. Any evidence of any maintenance? Specifically valve clearances and regular coolant changes?

The price is outrageous. If you're 30, wait for a later, better car. If you're 80, think about the opportunity cost of your time looking. Plenty of people that were on here are no longer with us that looked for decades and went to the grave wondering.

I remain stunned by the price the auction 348 made. I hope it goes to a sympathetic home and is seen out and about.

Looks like Rob's car, he was on here a bit when he bought it, I know he spent a lot of money getting it right. Was a decent car when I saw it last. I hope Rob's still into cars, he had some eyesight issues at one stage.

Hey Carl, that is definitely Rob's old car. Been a few years since I've seen it, but it was a very clean car when I last saw it.

Any thoughts on current 355 manual hardtop prices?

325k for an ADM black with 54k kms. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1995-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-manual/SSE-AD-13843677

    280k English import with 68k kms. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1998-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-manual/SSE-AD-12448677/

I know that prices are flat, and the actual sale prices from dealers are ~20k lower than their list prices, and much lower than these private listings. But cars are still selling behind the scenes if more slowly.

I'm trying to figure out what the realistic value on a non lemon / decent quality car is in 2025. Or for example the top end on an extremely nice one that could platinum a concorso.

Those 2 have been for sale for over a year if that tells you anything. The red one was listed as low as 220k at one stage and didn’t sell…

They take them down occasionally and then put them back up. Trying to lure in new buyers I guess…

Unfortunately, a lot of these cars don’t pass the sniff test. Sometimes they sell and then you see them back on the market 6-12 months later because they need a lot of expensive work done and will be tied up for months and years to get them right, if they even can be made right. I’ve been looking for some time now and I haven’t seen much I would be prepared to take a punt on. A lot of over priced junk out there that people a hoping to flog for top dollar ‘cause Fewari!

Non lemon, decent car is circa 220-250k, platinum concours level with no needs and good history 370-400k .

Well, this one has found a new home in the Byron Bay region. very puzzling why somebody prefers to pay a 7 figure sum when the car was available for a 6 figure sum weeks earlier with another dealer within walking distance. Maybe they got a free Roma in the deal?
