Hi All, I am having some battery issues with my 488 and when i look for suggestions/options in the 488 forum, nearly all batteries are 'Braille' or 'interstate' brands which i cannot find a distributer for in Aus. I am just checking to see what other options Aus based people are using in their Ferraris? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,
The Factory ones are part 312188 - picture here: Ferrari part 312188 - Battery 70AH - L3 VRLA 760A | Maranello Classic Parts See the specs labelled on the side of the battery. Check with a specialist to see if they can find an equivalent or go via a Dealer in need? This is the same one as in a 360/430/458 so should not be too difficult to locate I guess... We can't ship batteries unfortunately! Good luck!
I had the dealer replace mine a couple of years ago, but they didn’t use the factory spec one, (they just used a pretty crap generic one) so when I needed the next one I did it myself https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/century-century-iss-active-stop-start-car-battery-din65lh-agm-mf i did the research and as you know, none of the interstate or braille high end batteries are available here, so my solution was just pick the best I could find with a 3 year warranty.
In Europe definitely. However the Bosch batteries sold in Australia are made under license in various Asian factories and are no better than the other generic brands sold by Supercheap.
