Hello Guys! I replaced the wiper motor. I bought the From a Maserati and I was assured that it worked fine. When installing and testing it, the wiper only goes up to half of the glass. Do you know please if you have to do a reset or if this motor is coded? What is the problem or have I done the installation wrong? Thank you very much
I might be wrong but this looks like just a mechanical issue. The part is common to many Ferraris, Maseratis, … and other less prestigious brand I won’t name! When I replaced mine it worked fine. It might be that it has not been properly installed, Did you check if the wipers stop exactly at the bottom of the windscreen or are they trying to go lower? Maybe just an alignment issue?
have not explained well sorry. The problem is that when I put the key in the ignition the wipers go up only to the middle of the glass and stays there. If I activate the control of these wipers return well to its place and everything works fine. The problem is only that when I put the key in the ignition and without touching anything the wipers go up by themselves in the middle of the glass and stay there until I place them well with the corresponding control. Do you please know what it could be? I will do a reset with the battery to see if that fixes it.
