    Hello,

Does anyone rent, or willing to rent a scan tool such as X431 launch? I am in the process of replacing the clutch in my 06’ F430 Spider and need one to adjust everything once back together.

Will the Thinkdiag 2 pair with iPhone? I just ordered one. I seem to have a collection of these various code readers now but am hoping this will be the last one.

There isn't a PID list for the thinkdiag or the launch but the coverage list of what is covered below

We can probably can the until connected and print out samples of the reports

    What are looking for

Also autoengineuity has screen shots with the PID..it will give you an idea of what are some of the PID that may be covered by launch/thinkdiag2...we can confirm any you may want

Are you looking to just read this data or have bi-directional communication with car

The reason I ask is because the ap200 does a great job of reading the data off the ecu's.. it's free from one vehicle for life and it's very cheap 50 bucks

Don’t need bi-directional. Autel told me I have to buy a bi-directional model to get all the Ferrari PIDs.

Most of the documents I have are on paper/ or screenshots but sure i can email them to you if you want - but the unit is 55-60 dollars and I think you will be happy - you can get from amazon and if does not work for you .. you can always return it
What vehicle are we speaking about to work on ?

Ok, no need to send email; I’ll return if it doesn’t work well for me.

    I’m working on a 2001 360 Modena.

    Thanks.

Ok then the ap200 will even be better than all the launch products for the TCU if original and not the CS

You will be surprised how much you get for that small amount of money

    Two more questions:

Does it allow me to choose the 2001 360 Modena from the menu of cars?

Also, in what format can one save a report?

    Thanks again.

It will try to scan your vin automatically and then if that fails you can select Ferrari and then 360

PDF is the report it can generate

    Going to try the AP200.

What was the other scanner you recommended for my 2001 Modena?

As I mentioned, I don’t need bi-directional capability, but if I wanted to have something that comes with a screen, what would you recommend?

Whatever I buy, I’d like to be able to return it, like the AP200.

    Thank you.

Since you have a 2001 TCU you going to have to stay within the autel line or the otofix line
You can search for either one of those and pick what you like ..screen size , price etc ..since you only need read capabilities

But the cheapest route is to buy a android table (any size you want) ..just make sure it is compatible with ap200 ..and have it work like that

The full size tablet type scan tools from Autel will most likely be more than that and have a subscription as well

If you like to discuss in more detail I can offline ..PM me
