Some Dinos have black wiper arms, some have chrome. I'm curious to know what is correct. Was this an option, did the spec change over time, was it different for different markets, or was it random what you got from the factory?

Same question about steering wheels: some have solid spokes, some have holes.

Mine (06208) has chrome wipers and solid spoke steering wheel, which I believe are both original.

    Thanks, Stuart

    Here's some observations:

First, I don't believe any Dino or (vintage) Ferrari came with "chrome" windshield wiper arms or blade supports.
I believe most windshield wipers at that time came with either brushed or unfinished stainless steel arms/blade supports OR black (non-reflective) color coated stainless arm/blade supports. Latter, if I'm not mistaken were intended for US delivery cars since DOT/NTHSA designated bright. i.e. brushed/unfinished stainless wiper arms/blades too reflective and therefore a potential driving hazard/safety concern.

As for the steering wheels, I leave the answer to those more familiar with such details.

On steering wheels, my observations earlier cars (perhaps up to and including early E) had holes, and then they went solid around the fall of 1972.

My early US E with clapper wipers, smooth bottom of air intake/rectangular holes, 1 post supporting each bumper rather than 2 that later US cars had, and wheels that say FIAT non Dino, has steering wheel with holes. I think they switched shortly after mine, but could definitely be wrong!

Is the black color painted? Anodized? Something else?

At times, whatever was in the bin at the moment. We've all seen incongruencies.
