Looks great! But, you're much more patient than I. I won't paint my Meridian or upgrade the panel because I can't stand the thought of the downtime (oh, and I'm cheap). Are you still flying the Colombia 400 in the meantime?
Any restoration or mod always seems to morph into a 'while we are in there' scenario, which is never cheap. When I was installing twin Aspens in my old Mooney, about half way through the process the guy calls and says "you have an empty hole, an autpilot would fit perfectly" ......... Sure, why not
7 total. 4 in club, 2 on couch and 1 in forward facing seat (plus 2 up front of course). Rarely fly with that many.
Been a long while for me to post anything, but I have to say there are a number of interesting and exceptional a/c in the above photos. More than a couple bring back good memories including some time in a Comanche 400 (almost too much power!); many years spent involved with the EAA's homebuilt community; more than a few days spent in Kerrville at the Mooney plant; a very close friend who completely rebuilt his pre-1950-era Bonanza; and my first airplane ride in a '47 Ercoupe at the age of 2 (see attached). As a side note, I've just sold my '87 328GTS; have just ordered a 2026 Corvette Eray to replace it... Image Unavailable, Please Login
