I chose the Magnaride suspension for my XX coupe based on the recommendation from Ferrari (as above, Multimatic works well on glass-smooth roads but they recommended Magnaride everywhere else). I had the AF package on my SF90 coupe and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I wanted more usability out of my XX and opted for the lift as I plan on driving the XX more than I did my coupe (which I put 3500 miles on). The car is getting PPF’d now and I should have it next week. Driving impressions to follow.

Def not glass smooth roads - would be nice.
Since they n/c lifter it does make sense, wanting to keep SF90 and have them more different than alike is appealing.

I didn't really dig into why the accident happened, felt like it hit loose gravel around a corner the road surfaces went from asphalt to concrete anyway it's interesting a few years later Porsche upgraded every owners car a 150k rebuild and new tires. Sorry to hear

Unlike you - my posts are from first hand knowledge research and experience.
Your attempts to discredit my posts are naive. Do research and stop being lazy if you want to debate any single post - put in some effort prior.

Can I ask you one question -
599 sold for 150k over originally then went down to 175k as did any others go to 1/2 to 1/3 of msrp but for limited.
Please stop spreading this myth that is the hybrid systems - I can go back 15 years to today's market and it's just not true.
My Spider SF90 and 286 Spider is worth more after ownership percentage wise than any other unlimited production car I've owned
The SF90 296 are all not the same - there are versions and models spec miles just like any other Ferrari that determines it's value
In no way does th hybrid have a different effect - you would love to think so but it does not.
Question - why Is Ferrari stock rising and their customers younger?
My answer for you - older guys don't buy new Ferrari's and age out - you are a perfect example and their success is based on future value not past.
Please tell what cars you have - their original msrp vs when you bought them and the percentage of msrp. You feel very comfortable attacking the hybrid - do you see hybrid owners go in older model threads and doing the same - for some reason you love to dig to China

The market seems to think the stock is undervalued.
Ferrari wants one third of new model sales to be aimed at younger buyers and especially 'conquest sales'. This part has worked especially well with forty percent of new buyers having never owned a Ferrari before.

I've tracked with CGT's and a lot of GT2's. No one had any issues controlling the car. You have to know your limited and the cars and even "experienced" drivers on or off the track can crash. This can be such a broad topic though so wit out knowing the road conditions, tire conditions and how the person was driving the car it's all a moot point to point out this car or that car crashes.

I'm 47 years old, happy to hear that I'm too old for Ferrari !

I have had my F12 for 10 years, and it will not leave my garage. Bought almost new at the time with 3000 kms.
What you consider to be attacks against hybridization, are in fact only truths... disturbing, but just truths... You have an external view, and I have a more internal view, so less romantic... Cheering Ferrari regardless of the products they make is not necessarily doing the community a favor, in my opinion. Passion and realism are not antagonistic.

You contradict yourself. You’re blowing smoke. I’m sure you do have some experience. However much of what you say is speculation. History and current fact doesn’t support some of your claims.

So debate what you don't believe - your words / actions lazy. Stop chirping, you seem to be intent on what I post is a myth speculation - go for it. Don't start F fan boy bs, been here 20 years as an owner and enthusiast. Go for it

I would love to hear your driving impressions and a suspension review, I really like my AF Multimatic but dealer suggested Magnaride for my XX and I am torn because I dislike soft suspension, I actually messaged him today to change my suspension to Multimatic, I am really looking forward to your driving impressions and feedback.

Believe it or not if your car was a hybrid it would be under warranty in some states. So your car is more of a consumable than a hybrid by comparison

Ferrari just patented a new engine - we will see. I still don't understand the remarks you make continually in a new car thread - over n over the dislike towards others choices.

These links are interesting and for new cars there’s some benefit here. The discussion was long term maintenance and long term ownership experience. The LaFerrari and that eras holy trinity is now twelve years old and their batteries are no less expensive. They are not a special case as you claim and batterie technology and batterie technicians haven’t reduced battery maintenance costs. The used market for used SF90 and 296 is a glaring fact. I’m speaking as someone who likes both of these cars. Facts are facts. I’ve been here for 20 years as well. Quit posing.

And sadly, it’s only the business model because of immense regulatory pressure. In an alternate universe, Ferrari is happily building all the cars pure enthusiasts desire.

And the GT2 RS will be completely unobtainium. I talked to the Porsche GM at my servicing dealer and he expects 3, and of those, 2 are reserved for the owner and high ranking company exec. I think they will approach $1M in the secondary market. I also suspect that Ferrari will send 4-6X as many VS into the US market as Porsche will send GT2 RS. I want a GT2 RS (mostly because I fit well in that platform), but think I will be priced out.

Sadly, I don’t fit in the 296 as I was offered a VS, but had to decline.

If the GT3RS is any indication there will be plenty for everyone. Porsche isn't exactly swimming in $.

Yes that all's so crazy - Porsche should wake up and increase production to balance the market IMO

Like many here I’ve had a lot of Porsches. Their dealers are ruining the customer relationships and experience. I’m in queue for a GT3 Touring but I won’t pay a penny over sticker for that car.

It's pretty simple, collectors and enthusiasts don't want a V6 turbo engine with a hybrid. Unless the 296 VS comes with a big surprise like without hybrid. The coupé will fall below list price pretty quickly. Hybrid is generally a difficult topic, but an SF90 XX has a V8 engine that is much more popular and also has an enormous presence and a SF90 XX has also a strong limitation. I listened to the sound of the 296 for a long time and I have to say that the sound is clearly too bright from the outside. It sounds good in the interior, but that's down to the sound module. A few days ago I heard an SF90 XX that sounds pretty good and startling and it looks simply fantastic. A 296 looks pretty lumpy from the back and side. The direction like a McLaren 570S. A 296 is not a collector's car

Ferrari is a stock company and will sell as many cars as possible. Everyone wants to have a Ferrari VS model in their life.
