This recent video claims that some financial lenders are no longer offering financing for 296 Ferraris in the UK. The reason given is the unpredictable used car values. Is this correct that British lenders are recently reluctant to lend?

As has been said already, it seems the UK market for exotics is in complete turmoil now.
So the situation is worse than anywhere else.
Besides, prediction of future values of the new "species" (hybrid and electric) is challenging because there are no decades of experience; when these models (hybrid and electric) were anecdotal it had very little impact so nobody did care, but as they are trying to become mainstream the uncertainties are painful.
Rental companies are now running away from electric cars, and there are reasons for that...

There's a thread on Pistonheads suggesting that Ferrari dealers are offering soft finance (not PCP) on 296 in the uk - draw your own conclusions

The more fundamental problem is all the millionaires are escaping the isle like rats off of a sinking ship. Rule, Britannia? Only in this now it seems >

  6. The UK's problems go beyond just the exotic car market. Way beyond.
