Uk based help needed for potential 550 purchase

    Hello all, thank you for reading my post. I am currently looking to buy a 550 or Aston Martin DBS. Ferrari has always been the dream brand and therefore would love to own the 550. Though I am scared that once purchased there will be a lot of time in the garage having the car repaired…..how reliable is the 550 as a car and are there any particular issues I should be aware of? The Aston Martin DBS I feel is a newer car and potentially more reliable in the first few years.

    Most of what you ask has been answered in the thread a couple of years ago to which you contributed or can be seen in the many other buying 550 threads - you don't say where you are based but having a reliable local maintainer especially if NOT needed can be very reassuring

    I will also advise to look at the Ferrari 575 manual on sale from one of the members I think they are very good priced and look amazing and cars from members tend to be very well cared

    I think he is referring to te 550 va the aston not the 575
