Need to sell my audiophile high end TT. This unit is under use as in less than 40 hours in three years of ownership. The company is from SoCal and here is their website: Triangle ART | State Of The Art Turntables this model retail for $4999 which what I paid for. Selling it for $2500 or serious offer plus shipping and I will deliver it within 100 miles radius. I would love to keep this except I'm unemployed right now and I need the $$ thank you.

Hey Mike, Mike Blackburn here. We spoke a couple of years back about my recently acquired S.A.M. TT. I am in the Atlanta area and would love to catch up with you when you have a minute. Hope you and family are well. Thanks.

I'm still with my West German Thorens table, SME arm with Ortofon moving coil. I have started spinning my LPs wet instead of dry, which takes out a LOT of pops and crackles.

Mike, it's a standard Thorens belt drive table with strobe tuning circa 1975. I had it rebuilt from two other Thorens tables. I'm spraying straight distilled water on the records. The down side is you have to leave them out to dry and I only play one side at a time so I'm not putting a wet side down. I'm still sending it all through my MacIntosh equipment which I love.

George, thanks for the post. Pardon my lack of clarity but when you say "wet instead of dry" are you referring to spraying your LPs with something like grain alcohol, WD40 or other? Just curious as to what you may be using on them. I use a mixture of grain and distilled water and clean them on my record cleaning machine as I have for years. Seems to work fairly well but always interested in picking up new tips especially if they work well. And I also use an Ortofon MC on my SAM TT.

Sorry, George. I just realized you had answered my question previously AFTER I posted my last remarks. Please disregard.

George just to let you know I’m still spinning vinyl but I’m now diving my time between vinyl spinning, CD/SACD listening, and home theater.

I've had a Sony CD/SACD for some time now, I like it!
