F1 2025 Japanese - Suzuka Pre-Race Thread

I read that Yuki and Lawson swap seats. No word of Colapinto.

That said I'd much rather see Colapinto on the grid than the lame Kiwi.

 

Come on two races on tracks he has never seen, rain in Oz etc, is not enough with such a knife edge car to get a proper assessment of Lawson.

Crashapinto? No.

The problem with swapping drivers is it will unsettled the B team...

Yuki two or three crashes in that very difficult car he doesn't know? Could be a nightmare home race for him...

 

Max needs a wingman and he doesn't have one. Simple as that.

I'm not sure Yuki is the answer but I'm damn sure the Kiwi was in the wrong seat.

Lawson and Antonelli are diametrically opposed in preparation. One rational with Mercedes and over 9000km's of testing former but recent Mercedes F1 cars. Lawson...............................................................................????????????????????????????????? Virtually zero. A literal design for failure. Marko and Horner have a job why? NO Max no titles. As stated in another post the car is by default setup for Max who gives the most and best input. The results speak for themselves. RedBull needs help with car design and management which would yield much better young driver integration and probably RESULTS!

 

But what about the continued underperformance of the car? Who is carrying the can for that?

They should have signed Saintz when they had the chance, and I still believe Ferrari should have kept Saintz. Lewis can't fix their problems. Red Bull have been out to lunch
