More Ferraris at the Torricelle hillclimb :

Cornacchia was 4th with a « Ferrari 3000 », possibly the Monza with number 242 in post 2028.

    Guarducci ran a « Ferrari 2000 », I reckon his old 0012 M to 7th, just in front of Martinengo with a « Ferrari 3000 ». Could it be 0314 pictured in post 2013 ?

Further down we found Randaccio with a « Ferrari 3000 » and low down in the order was Casarotto, I assume with 0147 E. Randaccio later share a car with Lualdi at the Supercortemaggiore GP, so perhaps he had access to it before that ?

In an entry list published before the race, we see Moroni, but not Martinengo. Perhaps the former lent his car to the latter ?

I have Gino Casarotto racing 0147 E in 1954 but starting with the 3° Gran Premio Supercortemaggiore (29.05.1955) always 0410 MD in 1955 and 1956.

I'm may be wrong but I think this Scaglietti spyder #242 (note the bad condition) was raced in 1956 or 1957... Who knows ?

1956 and 1957 can be ruled out I think, sportscars numbers were in the 4xx. Also 1956 was run under constant rain according to one newspaper report.

1955 for sure. Looks like Franco Cornacchia, so must be 0522M.

0522 M was born with four chromed hooks holding down the engine cover (hood), the only Monza with this feature (this was much later changed to two hooks only). Look at period photos.

The car looks a little tired in the picture for March 1955 in my opinion…

Automobile Revue also mentions a Ferrari for Baudouin (just plain « Baudouin », not sure if they meant the King of Belgians) in the results for the group 4 race, won by Herzet.

Any chance they would have used the same car (0300M) for both drivers ? It was not a race but a timed course.

And #82 is the 250 MM Spider Vignale 0332 MM of Leonel Castelo Branco e Castro which placed 14th.
See photo page 194 of the book „Ricard, Pegaso, La Pasion del Automovil„ by Mosquera and Comaceno.
