This applies to several models 296, SF90, Roma, Daytona and the Purosangue.

You can now remotely enable and disable the unlock with the key in the pocket (Comfort entry) feature.

Pressing the lock button on the key fob twice quickly switches from one setting to another.

I found this out because my car stopped unlocking the driver door when I pressed the handle in. I suspect I'd tried to open the frunk at some point and double pressed the lock button instead.

It is actually in the current owner manual for my Purosangue, on page 80, but it is in red print so I didn't read it :)

There’s a ton of little nuggets in the reds. The one about the battery heat overruns warning is particularly juicy. “Stop the car immediately and run away from it as far and fast as possible” or something similar.edt: for the 296

It is amazing that they will not distribute PDF manuals like they used to. With software updates and the like being known to each car they could even personalise them to exactly what is/is not available – though Ferrari IT does seem poor.

It will save printing costs and reduce liability through out of date printed manuals, a point I have made in a number of the surveys – maybe one day.

Did they fix the issue of auto lock. I am trying to not have auto lock when I walk away but it still does even though I have unselected. The other request/beg/plead is for Ferrari to do a sw update so that when we choose in radio settings “favorites” that it does not reset each time the car is turned off. I want that to be my permanent setting. I wish they would have a way to gather user feedback and then implement some of these changes. It’s coding so not a big cost to them. I don’t have many but I do have a couple of “I wish….”

Well that explains that. I thought there was something wrong with my car. Thank you sooooo much for this. I must have accidentally did this opening the frunk and didn’t know it.
