I took my pup for a ride in the Ferrari and she was scared out of her mind I think. She just stayed in the floorboard. I don't think she was used to all the noises... more used to my wife's quiet car.

Installed a test pipe. I won't promote the brand because they're customer no-service was terrible. Cat was in perfect shape and I will reinstall when I'm done "testing" ;) . Sounds a little throatier at idle and under full throttle, but not mind blowing. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yep, the main purpose of a test pipe is to reduce fire chances. I've been "testing" mine for about 2 decades now.

The original size that came with the car michelle.trx 220/55vr390

I was looking for rims and tires so I would not have only one choice but didn't see anything i like and after looking at the cost to get ferrari wheels that take a "normal size" was not cost effective for me not spending a few thousand to dave a few hundred every couple of years pmus its getting warm in Westchester ny and getting close to driving season

Curious if the 6000k blueish headlights look out of place on a classic/vintage car (halogen is around 3000k).

Or if the headlights are also available in 3000k.

I’ve tried a few LED bulb replacements on a vintage car (not headlights, interior lights) and couldn’t rip them out fast enough because the light color looked completely out of place. Can’t picture in my mind if headlights would look out of place though.

I changed from factory TRX to factory 16" wheels on my old '86 Mondial 3.2, and I honestly preferred the TRX's. Some have said the Pirelli 16" Pzero Nero's I used are a not a great tire -- so that may be part of it -- and if you're tracking the car then 16" might have better choices -- but for normal road driving, the TRX's are excellent. In my case, the TRX's were quite a bit better than 16" for my needs, so the grass isn't always greener.

They are available in 3000k. The 6000were an error but they are a definite improvement. Internal at 6000 would be awful. As headlights not so bad perhaps because the daily driver has whiter lights.

Started it up had a ticking noise from the back head till warmed up think a valve might be a little loose and it has not ran since December

Once warm no noises seen a few things I need to address outside of the servicing

I really have to do the timing belts and drive it to see

I should have been working on it over the winter but no time

I really do not want to lose day not driving it in nice weather but it is what it is

first truly warm day in NNJ and there was a special car club meet called for the occasion. What a great excuse to get the fluids flowing.
Brought her home & did an oil change. Thinking about gear oil & antifreeze chance too.

Pretty easy day yesterday; exterior and interior detail on the '83 GTS. Today it'll be diving back into the poor throttle return action on the '79....but first, coffee! ;)

Winter recap: Installed new SPAL rad fans. While in there, installed new cabin fans.....both had broken mounting tabs. Replaced rad and water hoses up front.

I had PMB refurbish my rear calipers.....beautiful! Installed those and bled brakes (all calipers) multiple times. That's a little frustrating, despite multiple bleeds the pedal still feels soft.

Replaced door speaker.....while I was in there, added window accelerators. They make a huge difference!

Finally, added speaker on the back shelf, cleaned up under dash stereo wiring and added a small four channel amp. Whew!

You might want to have your booster and possibly MC checked out if it's not bleeding properly.

I had to have both rebuilt.

After that, you can bleed the MC directly with a MC bleed kit.

    Look at it in sunlight.

    A different color(s) altogether.

I know where two more of the 14 cars in that color are. ;)
