Sitting out on a nice evening. About 65ish here tonight. Fuente Don Carlos Belicosa. Tasty. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And, might as well get on a roll my last week in the sunshine until I move back down here. Just a Fuente Short Story tonight. Was a perfect pick, didn't really want a full cigar. Only one cigar left of the bunch I brought with me. Will probably have it later this week. There's a cigar lounge down here I've been thinking about checkin out, might try that tomorrow night.
Stopped by a little local shop. Seemed like they sold mostly other stuff like pipes and bongs and I'm sure vape stuff. But they had an ok selection of cigars. Even had a few of the Padron 60th anniversary sticks. $100each though. I almost grabbed one anyway but I'll look online when I get home, have seen the price closer to $75 each but no idea if anyone has them in stock. So tonight's selection is.... After 6 weeks or so of being here I'm kinda getting used to a little heat.
They can be spendy here too. I just stocked up on Short Stories last year. Don't remember but think they were somewhere around $6 each.
For Short Stories?!? Wow. I thought we had it bad here. But you can buy Cubans too, we still can't....technically legally, anyway.
Beautiful almost 70 degree day here. Got a lot of outside work done. May have even gotten a little sunburn on my shoulders. So even though everything was still straight damp it was a nice evening to sit out with a fire and smoke. Fuente Don Carlos Reserve Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cigar looks good. But that glass is way cool. Another decent day here so had dinner out back and then lit up a Varina Farms Breakfast blend. Started early, it's cooling off and I don't feel like lighting a fire tonight. Only probably a couple fires worth of scrap wood left. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer so maybe tomorrow night I'll have a fire. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Murano knows what they're doin. Picked it up this year during our usual day-trip during Carnevale. We'll be back next February; at some point we're going to have a full complement for the new house.
I love that no two pieces are alike, but at the same time once you know Murano glass....you can spot it from across the room. Such a spectacular history, and I love that they keep doing it the exact same way as they have for centuries. I could see myself just getting an apartment there and caring very little for the comings and goings of the modern world tbh.
Started this one while packing up and cleaning out the garage. Done with that for tonight so finishing up out back on the deck. Shoulda lit a fire, it's getting cold out here. Image Unavailable, Please Login
