    When I leave the car running on idle for some time the car makes a slurp followed by a mechanical clunk. It sounds similar to when the exhaust valves slam shut. It could even be the exhaust valves cycling? (I have standard exhaust and no controller)

    I’m guessing some pressure builds as it idles then this is some kind of release.

    Anyone else noticed this before? Is it usual?

    Perhaps part of the evap system for the fuel tanks?

    I’m more curious which system it is rather than concerned the car is broken. It sounds very controlled and every time the sound is the same.

    Which car?

    I have not noticed this on my F8, never noticed it on my 488 but soon after I got my 488 I unplugged the exhaust valved and plugged them.
