    Heard that an oval-shaped piston V-12 engine is being considered by Ferrari.

    Don't know about the performance advantages, if any. However it may offer a shorter package length. Interesting to consider the challenges of oval 'rings' and 'cylinder' liner and their performance, balance, and wear vs. standard geometry.
