Surprising....yeah the SOT is noisier than a solid roof but doesn't prevent conversations up or back. The only time mine wanders is in a Texas 20 mph crosswind, but not much more than my wife's MDX. I've been impressed with all the redesign they did on the suspension of the 392 compared to all the other Jeeps. Think they learned that after putting a heavy diesel engine in a standard Jeep, big mistake. Sorry to hear that about yours, what air pressure are you running in your tires? Mine runs best on 37 psi cold. I can really feel the difference when it gets down to like 32 psi cold.
You all with 392’s…. You can add the 1/4” longer front lower control arms for better castor degree and the Jeep is more stable on the street. $99 mod!…Or any other longer/adjustable lower control arms. My 392 is pretty much sold…going away this week to local buyer. I’m taking back our 2022 Cayenne for work road trips for now and my wife beat up the Maserati dealer on a new GranTursimo Trofeo.
I’ve heard the Land Cruiser/GX550 front seats lack leg room. That’s typical with Japanese vehicles for me thus I’ve never owned one. I’m 6’5” and fit best in German and American vehicles for me…my wife had a 2020 Aston Vantage our 1st English vehicle that fit me like a glove and was fun and comfortable.
Mod her with some lowering springs and HRE wheels...bump up that sound system...you have room for some 15" subs! Put on (at the least) Mopar lower control arms in front. Or adjustable lower arms from Rock Krawler, Clayton, TerraFlex, MetalCloak. The Mopar arms look like stock but are 1/4" longer. This increases front caster a touch 9 1 degree) and the Jeep steers at higher speeds much better. Makes all the difference in the world. Jeep did not put these on the 2024 392 or any 2024's. I think they were for the extreme off-road pkg in the older 392's. 2- 68322798AA Lower Control Arm $32each 4- 6512085AA Bolt M16-1.5x104mm 4- 6104720AA Nut Torque to 190ft lbs. You'll need a lift for that!
Absolute rocket of a vehicle! To the few who decry SUV’s, they have no clue how epic that ride is. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Love my new Tahoe High Country. I’d recommend it. Just got an Explorer ST for my daughter which I was super impressed with the looks, interior, and drive from the Explorers of old. If you’re tall you may like the Tahoe better. Both are nice though. Stop by Columbia on your next drive through SC!
Best Daily I’ve ever had, car does everything so well..well except for the exhaust note.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I kind of regret my new M8 as my daily. Should've listened to my heart and went with the 911 which was my alternative.
I fortunately got an allocation at MSRP, or I probably would have passed on one as well. Downside to the 911s is availability and ADMs…
