12 Cylindri Spider picture and comment thread

The U-Boat Commander here had Rosso Coburn as the body color on one of his cars with Argento Met for the stripes. A close-up picture of the stripes in the sunshine made it look like diamonds in the stripes. It was very striking!

I thought about you when I considered the stripe color. HAHA!

 

Rosso Giudecca is what we used. It's a touch richer and darker than Rosso Ferrari.

 

Yes, I've spoken at length about this with him. It's beautiful. Rosso Coburn is a consideration for the stripe too...

 

That Rosso Giudecca was used for the new 12 Cilindri 25 Edition example below. Surprised they were not holding Rosso Giudecca back exclusively for the 25 Edition...

I used it in the PS as well, with charcoal. I like the color.

 

My readout has sanusilver posted as a 2-layer paint, but had always heard it is 4. Any ideas? TM version wouldn't be different than ordering from the dealer, right?

 

It’s a 4 layer paint. Maybe just an error in the readout?

 

There’s Speciale for sale right now in the states in Rosso Maranello. It’s killing me.

 

I have it on my incoming SF90 XX and it's listed as a 2-layer paint.

Interesting perhaps something has changed? In the past it was called a 4 layer paint, now I see triple layer and 2 layer, so not sure. Either way it's absolutely stunning and for 39k it should be a 4 layer paint in my opinion.

Wow the car is so much better looking with the black panels painted.

 

Not sure if it’s a representative sample but I got a lot of negative comments on the stripe I put on my 296gts!!
You might want to really think about it.

That’s a shame, because your car looks phenomenal! The 12C isn’t a VS, but I still like the stripe idea. Not married to it yet. Also considering Nero galaxy for the roof, but there isn’t much surface area to be painted.

By the way to my eyes this Pozzi thing would look much better with the black strip on the nose.
It looks a bit like they wanna sell candy with it on the street market…
