Piling on to the accolades. @flash32 is a true asset to the community. His patience (even with dumb questions) and his generosity with his time truly amazes me. Over the past year, he has introduced me to and helped me with using a diag tool to read ECU parameters on my F430 (given the rookie that I am), patiently explained many of them, helped me run the correct tests on my F1 system and told me about which timings to measure, helped diagnose issues with my potentiometers and accumulator, explained how E-Diff works....the list goes on. He has also told me about all the online sites to get genuine parts at reasonable prices and what to expect to pay for various jobs on the F1 system, so that I don't get fleeced! The wealth of knowledge he has about the F1 system and his genuine willingness to help others is truly exceptional. Many Thanks Dominick!

    Hey guys,

I just wanted to take a moment to give a big shoutout to Dominick (Flash32) for his invaluable help in getting my 360’s F1 system sorted out.

We kicked things off with a full diagnosis, which led to his recommendation to do a complete fluid change and bleed—definitely not a small job on the 360, as many of you know.

Throughout the process, Dominick was almost always available to answer questions, and I honestly can’t praise his knowledge of these transmissions enough. His guidance made a huge difference, and I’m back on the road with a smooth-shifting F1.

Thanks again, Dominick—your help was absolutely top-notch!

Thanks to Dominic, I haven’t had a check-engine-light in six months - a record in my two years of ownership! :D

Dominick just spent many midnight hours with me trying to figure out a 2003 360 F1. He helped me set it as well as possible. I think I was/am fighting two things, a worn/glazed clutch, and not knowing how it should actually feel. I should have driven the car before I started working on it as I've never driven an F1 before, duh! After changing belts and cam seals, clutch position switch, all brake hoses, and reservoir, and fluids I went for a drive. I was so focused on paddle shifting and how bad it felt I never even tried auto. After Dominic helped me set everything, I drove it like it should be driven. In auto it shifts great. In manual, above 6000RPM it shifts great and at max RPM I now know what is meant by clunky. I was shifting at 3500-4500 and it didn't slip but it is very slow to make the gear change. It feels like massive torque reduction. I now believe this is the way they work. As soon as my friend picks it up, I'll find out. Thanks to this forum and especially Dominick!

I never thought a few weeks of Ferrari ownership looked like this. Let me explain...... (and please read on)
Having F1 issues with my 360 led to the connection with @flash32 ; Dominick. He jumped on a call with no hesitation and walked me systematically, patiently and with accuracy, the steps to diagnose and fix my car troubles. He spent many hours on the phone. All he asked was to pay it forward through a charitable donation.

I have a very good friend who sadly lost his wife 4 years ago to cancer. He often talks about her still and how the final years were difficult. He felt comfort in the assistance and help provided by charities, commenting that they always had time for him. Therefore, I chose a charity for Kids beating Cancer. Helping to find a cure but also supporting children and families.
I see many, many comments on Dominick and his capability, but wanted to highlight the impact of his efforts and his wider reach.

Dominick - It has been a pleasure to get to know you and how you are impacting outside the Ferrari community.

I know many others have donated and I encourage others to pass it forward in the future. Dominick is able to receive payments, which he then donates.

I'd love to hear other stories on how people have passed it forward.

Just a note for everybody here in the community

Over the last week three people, that I helped over the last month, have given generous contributions to various charities ....now that's what I mean when I say" pay it forward"

Generosity like that keeps me going forward and trying to help even more people...this is a great community

Thank you to all that can have contributed
