As we all know it's just stupid.

A few automakers have done an about-face on going all EV, or even 'most' EV,
including GM and BMW. I WANT to say Mercedes also, but I cannot remember if I read that.

You realize it takes 2-3 years from debut to get a car - correct?
Have no idea where those numbers come from - the globe?
1000 ish Ferrari's - is a lot all the sudden and how many dealers are there.
Glut over over production - yet each one had a customers name on it.
Lack of emotion connection - did they shutter the factory due to no orders - no!
This Ferrari hate as their stock rises based on futures - sell their stock short. People have been losing money on Ferrari's since they were being produced - welcome to owning an exotic. Fast forward go read the 100,000's posts of people who didn't buy when prices were low. Should woulda coulda thread.
As hybrid electric alternatives move forward - I wouldn't bet against Ferrari long term - watch them rise just like they have for decades but for a few models and even those have risen.

I think you're looking at this a bit myopically. Demand is, and always has been, bifurcated and based on the preferences of deep-pocketed buyers which has favored certain segments within the total of all the Ferraris produced over the years.

Historically, new Ferrari were heavily in demand for reasons mentioned all over this forum - because historically they appealed the masses. But there have been a number of firsts swirled together that have indeed created an unprecedented environment for Ferrari; going public, hybridization, myriad global regulations, new leadership to name a few. And in the time since these new things manifested, I've never seen (or personally felt) so much lament about the new cars.

So from my perspective, I agree with the @Eilig evaluation of the insane number of new Ferrari on the market; and rather than rationalize it, I accept the fact that demand may be shifting from the norm and focusing on other cars (mostly from prior generations of production) that deliver on the experience we are all looking for. And since this is a brave new world for Ferrari, why not believe there may be an unorthodox reaction? The stock is strong now because sales haven't caved, but you better believe that the stock will plummet in an instant if buyers don't want to take another $300K hit on a new car that isn't all that exciting after being stung by it once with their SF90/12 Cilindri/296/Puro/you name it...

New electric Ferrari with 4 exhausts and fake exhaust sound, watch 10 mins in and tell me they are not losing it!

I know it’s only a porotype but why would Ferrari use such and ugly car, this will not get anyone excited.
It is not the car in the video photo but this one, watch 10 the video mins in to hear it.

I'm not here to defend electric Ferraris, but that SUV bears a strong resemblance to a Maserati Levante. They may be using that platform or body shell for the test mules.

It's a Levante body plus some camouflage. I think the latest mule has an updated the front end and headlights, but we're pretty far from seeing what the real F244 looks like. No guarantee it ends up being great, but it probably won't look like a Levante with new lights. This is basically the equivalent to the 458-body LaFerrari mule, which it is safe to say, did not really represent what the LaF looked like in the end.

FWIW, the new Vanquish appears to be selling briskly. Initially when the car first hit the dealers, the total online inventory ran up to 26 cars (on Autotrader), but it quickly settled down to 15-16. Today, it sits at 13 cars. It seems like every day a new car gets listed and another car drops off. Overall, it seems like a successful launch for Aston, albeit certainly not successful in the Ferrari sense where every car is sold before it hits the dealers lot. I am curious what the transaction prices might be.

I’m sure if AM continues to put out great cars like the vanquish they will eventually start to sell out at launch. It takes time for customers to adjust. Perhaps AM will come out with their version of VS (Ferrari) or GT(Porsche) cars to stir up demand.

Going to the HQ soon and must say looking forward to it. Had been invited several years ago and passed as the product line was not exciting. It is now.

F12 was the peak Ferrari in my opinion - it's like the 997 of the Ferrari - the 812 is more like the 991.1 - for those who follow P cars

Peak was 993, since then 911s are water cooled imitations of the real thing. The first 997s also inherited the IMS and bore score from the 996.

On another note, the F12 has the uterus and the Nike swipe, so it's debateable that it was the peak of anything either
