Stop and Go Traffic with Carb Car

So I wanted to give everyone an update. I think I have it sorted. It’s another case of bad parts out of the box. Which is always the most frustrating issue. The Pierburg pump, while it would constantly run, would go from making 5psi to dropping to 0psi while it was still running. I swapped the Hardi pump back in but put it before the filter this time. I also was able to open the return with a restrictor in it and the Hardi put out a consistent 3.5psi. Car runs better than it ever has now. No missing and does great under load and stop and go. So I guess the issue was a bad Pierburg pump out of the box and withe the Hardi, it was having the filter before the pump that caused it an issue.
