I think 2 more races Zack is going to start to put Oscar as number 1, Lando as number 2 for the rest of the season unless there are some DNF's.

    I didn't see Leclerc's wing open, wow.

as for Russell, his one opened and he gained 0.02 but he corrected for it the next straight, lifting and costing him 0.25, which the FIA said was a fair compensation.

I guess call it the same as giving up a position when you made a questionable overtake.

Still too early, and not a real threat from another team. If Russell wins one of the next 3 races then he may be forced to choose a # 1

In the 20's they had a guy sitting next to the driver to make sure the car had fuel pressure and oil lubrication and to look out for the driver and give him advice on overtaking, pitting, etc. Today its no different but by radios and computers.

That scenario is still true in NASCAR with team observers on rooftops telling the driver whose beside them or if a crash just happened.....giving the driver real time observation on the track.

Sky on ESPN had a replay after the race.
Happened while live coverage was focused on Oscar crossing the finish.

While watching the race I see Russell dropping to 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. Why are they blabbering on with the 2nd place car falling to last???

They eventually got around to explaining the problem and showing Russell behind Piastry.

Then they were warning Lando about being 100% confident he is in the 1-second window to use his DRS! That should not his problem to worry about a technical issue with Russell's timing equipment!

    Good race!
Too bad SC came too early. Would be nice to see Ferraris with soft tires in the last 15-20 laps.

Yeah and how about Oscar's last lap pass on Hamilton in the rain in Australia this season? He's got some game for sure.

That pass was scary, but he seems to know what he is doing

It was his pass at Monza last year that showed he has got some great racecraft and knows exactly where to position his car for the next corner

I would put Oscar a step up from Danny Ric for being a racer

I like both drivers. I wouldnt count Lando out as a future world champ. He's still young and has at least a couple more years under contract with Mclaren
