Hi, I have 3 newbie questions which I hope someone can help me with:

01 - Is it possible to disable the parking sensors from overwriting the left dash screen when the car is idle / stuck in traffic. I have my left screen set to the oil and water temp in my Speciale… but when the car is at a standstill, the left dash screen auto defaults to the parking sensors and I have to keep turning it off via the button on the roof.

02 - I was playing around with the dash settings and there was an option to put a digital speedometer on the right dash display. I selected that option but I just can’t seem to get it to show on the right display. Can anyone advise on this.

03 - What setup do you have on your left and right cluster display?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have an F8 and had a similar issue because I was playing with settings, whereby I set the parking sensors to come on under 6 mph (stupid move), now assuming the settings are the same, when stopped put ignition on, press the parking camera button thing on the right side under the steering wheel and AC controls and turn that off for the moment, that will allow you to go back into settings and remove/change the 6mph setting. It's under the left panel settings

Thank you. I don’t think that option exists on the Speciale… likely just on newer models.

Does anyone know how to load the speedometer to the right dash?

Try pushing the sensor button by the rearview mirror.

You don’t have to turn off the radio. If you hold down the view button for a couple seconds the speed will appear on the right

    Thanks all.

i don’t think it is possible to turn off the auto parking sensors on the 458. It’s incredibly frustrating that they take over the main screen everytime you are in idle.

As someone mentioned above, you can disable this with the button in the overhead console, just behind the rear view mirror. That said, I’m really surprised you get this in regular traffic!

01 - I think you're referring to the "Stop & Go" function. Per the owner's manual: To activate or deactivate the system, call up the MENU screen page, select the items “Car setup”, “Parking sensor”, and select one of the two options, “STOP&GO ON” and “STOP&GO OFF”.

03 - I have my left gauge set to the engine coolant & oil temperature and my right gauge to the digital speedometer
