Greetings! Has anyone seen or have a photo of a real life ferrari in Blu Minerale?

I've tried forum search and google search to no avail.

    Hi

Blu Minerale was called Blu Elder until a while ago. So you may want to google Blu Elder to find more pictures. Hope this helps, it’s an amazing color.

That's so helpful! The funny part was I held the paint sample of Blu Elder in my hand next to the Blu Minerale sample and thought they looked the same... but I didn't think to search the Web for Blu Elder!! Doh!!

There's is a difference though in that Blu Minerale sample i has colour shifts far more easily than Blu Elder.

According to my info it should be 100% the same. It was called after a client called Mr. Elder who created that color for his own car (paint to sample). Ferrari is however changing their policy as they don’t want colors called after client names anymore. That’s the explanation which was given to me in February this year in Maranello when I spece’d my new 12 Cilindri. The sample said Blu Elder but in my final offer the color is now called Blu Minerale. Expecting the car to come in August

Thanks again! Great to know its origins.

I've specced my Purosangue in this colour and had the local crash repairer paint a piece of aluminium strip in the colour code spec from Ferrari. Maybe that is why the colour shifts effect differ from the Ferrari supplied sample of Blu Elder?

Here's my spec so far.. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I’m sure that’s the reason! In Maranello there was only one sample and it was labeled with Blu Elder. In my final order it now says Blu Minerale.

Congrats on the 12Cilindri! I have to wait over a year for mine being a RHD and a Spider. It drives so well and so agile. Just need more decibles.

Here's a video showing difference between Ferrari dealer paint sample of Blu Elder and a locally painted sample using specs from Ferrari factory of Blu Minerale.

I can confirm this is the case and I am on the same timeline for my Blu Minerale 12 Cilindri.
