The actors who starred in the 1998 film White Russians and Olives, Jeff Bridges, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi, have reunited almost 25 years later in what was the setting for one of the most famous scenes of the film, the @barcasaplacido in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood.

Apparently, the actors arrived together at the bar and sat at one of the tables without anyone noticing how special the visit was. For Cristina, the waitress, they were just another few tourists of the many who stop at the place every day. It was a Canadian tourist who gave away the actors when he approached to ask for some autographs. Visibly moved, he commented: "It's incredible that I had to travel to Seville to find the three of them together."

They drank, ordered some olives and recalled some anecdotes from the shoot as they looked and pointed around. Before leaving, they gave the waitress a frame from the film signed by the three of them.

The actors were in Seville promoting the new Blu-Ray edition of the film.

I was going to write about this one: The Mysterious Island from 1929. Its mainly silent but has a few spoken lines. This movie is incredible for the time. It has a cast of a hundreds playing aliens living at the bottom of the ocean, really good special effects and costumes, and action. Some of it was filmed actually underwater, which for the time must have been extremely dangerous. Its crazy they could have made this in the silent era.

You can see the entire movie here:

It's a heartbreak emotion and nostalgia at the closing of a cinema.
I notice that those who release independent films or have success abroad have a better audience.
