Well I'm all over how the Pom's keep on going off about JC,where's the same enthusiasm for the only bloke who designed,built,raced and won a word championship in a car of his own? Of course he had a mob of folk helping in all aspects but it still stands as a huge achievement JC won 2 WC,s before he died. There are plenty of drivers who've won multiple WC's and the Pom's don't go roarin' off about them as they do JC.

He's a ****. Tried to push through a development with 150 villas and canals coming off Tallebudgera Creek. Needless to say, we all screamed bloody blue murder and it was blocked. The house itself was decorated by the trophy wife of the guy that built it and is hideously gaudy inside. Nice big garage, though.

Interestingly, McLaren lost a similar amount last calendar year. I don't understand what value investors see in these brands if they continue to lose money at that rate. In McLaren's case, it's over 400,000 GBP loss per vehicle. It would be a real shame if Lotus disappeared. Perhaps we'll look back at this time in 20 years when all you can buy is a Chinese manufactured vehicle, and think; It's a miracle we had the variety of cars to chose from back then.......... Don't complain about the influx of cheap Chinese made vehicles if you continue to buy them, thinking you're saving the planet. And manufacturing. And then there's Ferrari and Porsche.
