I didn't say he beat his team mates every year. I said he beat all the team mates he's had. Are you guys awake today? Reading seems a little off.

    Who's on first?

No matter, this year he's getting his butt kicked by his team mate. Better start working on your spin for that one! ;)

To the OP have hope. Your a fan and its your right. No matter the results the world turns and support who you like. No one here is a part of that decision process. Its yours.

I think thats the kick in the ass he needed. I think he learned some race craft and strategy form Carlos. Now hes driving like a professional.

I still think a little more time is needed, but honestly it doesn't look that good. He's quite a ways off, it's not like he's missing the last tenth, which is always the hardest to get, it's more like 3-4 tenths. With Charles getting a podium on merit last race and Lewis finishing 30 seconds behind him, it's going the wrong direction. I hope I'm wrong, honestly, but being realistic it's not looking great. I'm rooting for him to at least match (or even go faster than) Charles as that's the best case for Ferrari, but doubtful that happens. Carlos is looking even better in retrospect as he was always close and sometimes faster even though the team was favoring Charles, even if only a little. I think that was the best driver pairing in F1, if I'm honest.

Friendly but serious question: do you ever admit being wrong?

Yes, you are wrong to have high hopes for Lewis. Lewis cannot driver ground-effect cars quick, the end. Doesn't matter who he drives for.

I once predicted that Ferrari would host Hamilton’s funeral as a driver.

As of now, I have not been mistaken.

You failed. But don't sweat it. Team mates are not the main driver focus anyway.

I’m going to use your logic from now on and boldly state that Michael Schumacher won every single race he was in. If anyone corrects me I’ll just confidently tell them he won every single race he was in that he didn’t lose, there fore I’m right. ;)

    :p

I don't know what logic you are using. That's not my logic because that logic can be applied to any driver. But not all drivers have beat every team mate they've had, ie Alonso, Vettel, Raikkonen etc
