What paint finish should I put on my fiberglass Euro front bumper?

 

SEM Bumper Paint worked for me. Gives a slightly mat rubber look, very similar to original. It's only been on about 500-600 miles so far, so can't vouch for long term durability, but thus far it's doing well.

Specifically it’s SEM 39103 “black original flexible bumper coater”. Here’s a picture of mine right after I finished it with the SEM 39103 and before I installed it. I have over 1,500 miles with mine installed and it still looks just like this — even with probably 10 or more gentle washes with microfiber rags and quick detailer spray. It’s taken quite a lot of bugs too

I just put a Superformance Bumper on my US '79 GTS. The Superformance part was, let me gently say, not the best quality. I installed it anyway, but then ordered a new EU Ferrari part from Eurospares... that's still in the box waiting on me to find time.

I also bought Superformance's brackets (which have nothing to do with US cars) and welded round steel rods to the frame (like Ratarossa on YouTube did).
