I'm really curious to know if you will consider buying this car, whose name will be "Ferrari Elettrica" and whose real shape is the one pictured below at 95%.

Please be serious and read all the answers: you can choose only one.

    Thankyou

    Ciao

    depends on price / power

it's going to need 1800hp or so to be interesting or stand out at all in the EV fast car market

I've heard from a reliable source the car was not designed by Manzoni but rather a Apple geek which makes total sense as they are trying to grab the young woke crowd.

Could it be a sign of desperation for Ferrari to divulge the name of a new model prior to its reveal? Has that ever been done before?
Other than to generate news and 'excitement', what's the point? Wouldn't one of their crazy montage videos of a new model prior to release generate more excitement, but, apparently not in the case of an appliance with zero emotion.

Absolutely. They want to remind potential customers that it exist and is coming soon. Drip-feeding interviews on how Vigna have driven it and it's "Truly a car with Ferrari DNA, full of excitement and driving thrill", "The Elettrica is coming, and it's going to be great!". To me it seems like they're trying to foster some sort of Stockholm Syndrome for buyers.

And the rumor mill regarding LeapMotor (20% Stellantis ownership) is not comforting at all.

ok, let's try some poll results analysis, with 25 votes: they are not much, but

    -"No, never": 68%

-"No, unelss -impossible to have- benefits": 16%

-Concerned about reliability, so at present the answer is "No": 8%

-"Yes, but only to have the full lineup to complete a Ferrari collection": 4%

    -"Yes": 4%

So only 4% of Ferrari customers already loves this EV car.

    Only 8% will buy it.

Another 8% will consider buying the car only after some years after reliability evidences: this is not a good news for Ferrari.

And a huge and terrifying 84% won't ever consider buying that EV car.

    Ciao

    PS
Ferrari already knows all this, of course: the new "EV building" they are erecting in Maranello will be able to produce not only EV cars, as they probably still don't think there won't be enough EV Ferrari demand

There would be ALOT more NEVER responses if this was posted in a general area of the forum. I know I haven't been in this creepy sub-forum before.

Maybe, but 84% of "no, never" are enough and I think they set a new alltime negative record for a new model

I would really buy it - I have 2 EVs already and they are great dailies. But I think the price point for a daily should be <EUR 300k, not in the EUR 500k as claimed by many sources.

Porsche Taycan Turbo GT costs 250 K euro: I don't think a Ferrari will cost as a Porsche, it must be priced obove 300K

Fair point, but I think that the electric Ferrari might be better priced close to the Roma or as a very expensive hypercar, but bot in the 500k range. Just my opinion.

I think -as basically there is no demand for the Ferrari Elettrica - they will price it at a very high level, as exclusivity of the brand is the only strenght they can put on the table. Pricing it lower would be a disaster, as Chinese cars works (probably) better and they are not slower at a fraction of the Ferrari Elettrica cost.

It looks absurd, but the extremely high price will be the only plus of this car

    Only my opinion, of course.

Poll results update, with 35 votes: "no" rises to 88,5%. "I will buy" drops to 5,8%.

But nothing new: this car present appreciation is still a disaster. Maybe things will change in the future: I'm very skeptical, but who knows!

If I was absolutely forced to have an EV with money no object I'd just get the Rolls Royce Spectre.

Which ironically is one of the slower EV's lol.

If I'm going to be mind numbingly bored I might as well do it in actual luxury.
