Yes, repro's of the optional Dino wheels. Same size as stock 14"s on the 308. I'd seen a few period photos of early 308's with these wheels and liked the vibe.

my mechanic replace one clamp in one of the fuel hoses near the fuel pump because occasionally I smell gasoline inside the passenger compartment. the fuel accumulator was also replaced. the old one w/c still look original was leaking already resulting in prolonged cranking on cold and hot starts . After replacement I tested it and cranking when cold or hot takes a short time and idling upon starting is smooth even when the engine is cold .
Walked out into the garage to see my right front blinker lens was gone! The plastic the screws go into broke. I just ordered a pair if one is bad the other is not far behind.

I believe there was an option for Ferrari center badges. But I'm not a fan of adding more horses to a car that already has way more than enough. When I bought the car, there were 12(!) prancing horses visible when sitting in the drivers seat, including the now removed floor mats and key ring. The remaining nine(!) horses came from the factory. Ridiculous, really, IMHO.
The wheels look great the way they are. But the yellow Ferrari centers would bring the yellow of your car to the center of the wheels also. In the end I would leave it like it is also. It is gorgeous!

I installed a new lithium battery from Antigravity. It saved 23 lbs over the lead acid battery it replaced, with the added benefit of a built-in management system that protects from parasitic drains by shutting the battery down before it dips below 12v (it comes with two key fobs to "restart" the battery if it shuts itself down, and also has a button the battery itself). For those interested, their "group 24" battery is the proper size and shape, and you want the positive terminal on the left side, not the right (you have to choose from a dropdown menu). Got the girl up and running add a few more items to the to do list but for now just want to to put miles and smiles on her before doing the the belts and accessory belts I had a tapping noise from the rear that would go away after a few mins I thought it was a valve train but after seeing the tensioner bearings for the timing belts I feel that was the problem after the first start up. The noise wasn’t there. Of course I replace the tensioners with hills engineering after going through the maintenance records from the previous owner, the tensions were done, but probably originals and not Hills Image Unavailable, Please Login
