But what happens when the “Purosangue H” model announced. Rumor has it that it will be announced sometime later this year, and will have a similar four wheel drive setup as the SF90, V8 Engine with Hybrid.

if this is so will Ferrari switch the open Purosangue V12 orders to the Hybrid V8 version. Only speculating here.

 

There will be no Purosangue H. I asked my dealer. PS remain unique

 

Purosangue will only be available with the V12 engine. But the successor will almost certainly be a hybrid. You can currently see a Purosangue test car driving around in Maranello with a hybrid system.

Correct. I was at the factory last week and was told their "high wheel 2 + 2" will 'always' be 12 cyl. At least for next two years for their current backlog. Then again, with Ferrari, who really knows. But my bet is at least two years.

 

27-28 stated in Q&A during earnings for the Purosangue, so that's a very long build window on those beasts..

We had one arrive at the local dealership last week. It's been few and far between though.

 

So mine came in, my fantastic dealer never told me. I inquired and they had to check , shockingly it was there and being PDI'd. Clown show! Anyways, I have no idea as of yet what the upcharges are and whether or not I'll take it. This dealer takes all the fun out of the experience, hard to get excited.

 

Interesting, about your dealer experience. Though 'Like' perhaps isn't the correct word for your recent car buying experiences!

 

That's a shame, I'm sorry it's that way. A new Ferrari is usually something to look forward to. I get pics of the cars unloading from the truck, so there are good ones out there.

I am being told my allocation is coming up and to lock my spec by next week, which is exciting. Can anyone help me guess roughly how long from now to delivery in the US?

 

Can I ask you how long you’ve been waiting, when did you put in your down payment.

I asked my dealer how long the wait would be after an allocation notice and he said normally it’s four months for production, and shipping to the us. But he also said plan for five at worst.
