Goodwood Members with some luscious sports/racers: https://velocetoday.com/goodwood-members-meeting-part-1/
HAHAHA I don't think you'd fit in any of the first 4 - I, on the other hand... How to choose! Although I'd eliminate the Periscopo - very awkward front end. The Alfa would be a very elegant 'older lady' car!
B\S, I drove your 500 no problem except for crappy g/box design. Easy fit into the 600,the rest unsure but if I did and I had the dosh the Monomille would be in the shed ...................alongside the OT!
Nice little piece of Jim Clark in today's Goodwood news: https://www.goodwood.com/grr/event-coverage/goodwood-revival/jim-clarks-sublime-1965-world-championship-60-years-later/?utm_source=The%20Goodwood%20Estate%20Company%20Ltd&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=14980713_MS-PAS%20Friday%20Newsletter%2025042025&utm_content=MS%20CLARK%20HERO%20CTA%20LINK&person_id=100215790&dm_i=1QLU,8X36X,CA3V2V,116PHW,1 Just love the simplicity of the cars from that era... Festival of Speed looks like a cracker this year - Gordon Murray is special guest and one of my all-time favourites Alain Prost is running in the hillclimb.
Well I'm all over how the Pom's keep on going off about JC,where's the same enthusiasm for the only bloke who designed, built, raced and won a word championship in a car of his own? Of course he had a mob of folk helping in all aspects but it still stands as a huge achievement JC won 2 WC,s before he died. There are plenty of drivers who've won multiple WC's and the Pom's don't go roarin' off about them as they do JC.
Boat news actually ..............and what the blokes taking the video said!!! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-04-30/speedboat-flips-at-322kph-in-arizona/105232208

He's a ****. Tried to push through a development with 150 villas and canals coming off Tallebudgera Creek. Needless to say, we all screamed bloody blue murder and it was blocked. The house itself was decorated by the trophy wife of the guy that built it and is hideously gaudy inside. Nice big garage, though.
