Mondials For Sale

Well I survived! She was not completely impressed and she hates red cars too… however my boy was so enthusiastic and vocal about it that he can kind of drowned out all opposition! Now I just have get the Mondial running for school run.

BTW, if the 'school run' is taking your kid to school, I'd have second thoughts. I did that once in my 308 when my daughter was in the 6th grade. From that day on, her circle of friends diminished quite a bit as she was labeled 'That snooty rich girl'. Just give it a thought.

BTW, how was sleeping in the doghouse or on the couch?

Yes did worry about reactions, but then he is not one of the cool kids and is a bit of an outsider, so it may give him some cred. Already drop him off sometimes on the bike. Did that at junior school and got a stern look from the headmistress.

There are worse reasons to sleep on the couch…

 

That was my daughter, the drop in the car just made things worse for her.

Seems pretty normal for a 360. A 350hp Mondial sounds way more fun than a Rolex!

I am thinking about selling my current Ferrari project. a 1981 Mondial 8 euro

not worth anything back East,, but here in Communist California? it’s Street Legal.
no Smog Pump or EGR required,
Euro bumpers…. etc.

But, I just saw a Florida car,,1983 QV Mondial ( probably with hidden rust.) sell for $35k. … ?

No Rolex here but I've been rolling the idea of selling by '88 coupe to go back to a 360. With all of the recent work, paint, etc., I really do not like driving it a lot, doesn't have one scratch on it and the highways around Phoenix are perfect for rocks, debris, etc. The downside is that I have no records except for the current receipts (around $70K for the restoration) and it has 80K miles.

And, a 3.2 ? ( I believe.)
So, you want to go back to a 360 coupe..
I saw one for $93k


So,, my car is worth 1/2 of yours. $ 35k

That’s the Price, for a perfect example Mondial 8.
that makes mine $29k
