Piloti will just be a special version for the people who own and race in the challenge series. It’s all cosmetic, but the same car. Same as the Pista piloti.
The paint adds up fast. I think I spent over $70k for paint on my 296 (triple layer paint, painted shields, and dual color stripe).
The first time I saw the 812 TDF I thought the same. It looks like a tuner car. But now I see the TDF and I love it.
Makes total sense for a current owner who loves the 296 but thinks it could be even better. Time to upgrade! (depending on pricing).
F430 16M - 1 of 499 693 produced 458 Speciale Aperta - 1 of 499 716 produced 599 GTO - 1 of 599 891 produced Italian math.
If that’s true, I highly doubt I’ll be able to get one. I’m sure my verbal allocation was behind more deserving folks. Used market maybe.
hmmm, there's a reason it's a limited in time but not limited in number. They might make as many as they can to maximize profit. If you're really interested in getting one, it might just happen. Just saying.
This is what I’m hoping for. I just like spec’ing cars. I just had a son. I’d like to incorporate some special touches for him bc he gets all this crap one day (assuming dad doesn’t blow it)
Does anyone know… Will Ferarri be absorbing the tariffs in the American market like they are on the regular 296?
Congrats! And yes, there’s nothing better…speccing cars I mean. I am considering TM for the spider, but there’s so much carbon, that it’ll be a cheaper appointment as far as fabrics!
If you are interested, best is to reach out and talk to your dealer. They will tell you what you need to do to get an allocation or can confirm if you have it. I know @Lagunae92 mentioned he's already put down a deposit, but for my dealer they were not taking deposits. they know who is getting it but were not informed about the deposit and were waiting until launch for more info. all the best.
My man! Congratulations, it’s truly the best and just keeps getting better. It’s amazing how quickly they develop their own personalities.
Has Ferrari ever have their driver test their car at the Ring? Most of the record for Porsche is their own drivers.
Ferrari do test at the Ring, but not as frequently as many other brands. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's not true - the factory shuttered for an extended amount of time at the 16M and many orders were cancelled GTO / Aperta ... maybe a few extras put nothing like you are stating - if it's true show your proof.
Untrue. I no longer have a 296, but have an allocation for a SA. It’s been well documented that the email received by dealers clearly defined the requirements, which DO NOT mention the need for 296 ownership.
