    Hi folks,

    I recently moved to DC, and am having to find places to re-home my cars, one of which is an F12. I'm also looking for a competent mechanic for the F12 who can deal with the car's complexities, but also with some light modifications (it's got novitec springs and litespeed magnesium wheels at present). I'm having some vibrations at speeds above 65 and the (brand new) wheels and tires have become suspects in that trouble. I'm pretty picky about my cars, so done right the first time is way better to me than done cost-effectively. I imagine that describes many of us on this site...

    I live on the Red line in DC, so it'd be sweet to have a facility that is somewhere else on the red line even if it's pretty far into MD.

    Designo Motoring in sterling has customized 4 of my Ferrari's. F8 coupe, F8 Spider, F12, and SF90 Spider all with aftermarket wheels, novitec springs, novitec exhausts and I never had any vibrations or issues. Unless your wheels are bent, sounds like they need to be rebalanced and Designo has the equipment to do it. Competizione in Gaithersburg is great as well for Ferrari service.

    Welcome to the area. For mechanical work these guys are top notch. Search for many positive comments - for both of the below. Competizione may do storage also, but not sure.

    I think of Sterling as being a long way away, but I probably just need to readjust my outlook a bit because it seems like there aren't high-end car services closer to the city center.

    For storage, has anyone here heard of the Driver's vault in Rockville?
