Who are the best auto social influencers?

I will say JayEmm was what finally pushed my over the top for the Ferrari purchase. I like Ed Bolian for the transparency around auto finance, and the occasional funny video, but disagree with the 'drive the worst expensive cars' mindset.

Harry, hands down for the most on point car review.

Normal Guy Supercar for the transparency again, especially his latest videos on how bad the auction market is getting and the stuff thats showing up in auction.

 

DDE is for children, I'd like to see him deported back to Canada. I have no respect for people that come to our country and purposely flaunt the laws. Harry's is good but I find him to be a bit of a homer for British cars. I like Throttle House entertainment/honesty and Demuro for thoroughness.

 

Honestly, buying driver grade cars with flaws I can mitigate are they only reason I'm in the cars I have....so I appreciate his viewpoint on that.

 

I have zero issues with driver cars. That's why I'm buying what I did. But Ed leaves things unfixed that would make me nervous. But on the flip side he does stuff like putting full PPF on his Merci. I get it's a calculated risk, and he goes through cars. Just different mind set from how I operate. To each their own.

I voted for Harry’s garage but I think that nobody can get close to Davide Cironi.
He’s documented not only cars, but their key designers and builders of the golden era. He has to be on the list!
And he’s a very approachable guy, replying to your emails if you ask for any suggestion despite having 600+k subscribers.

Harry Metcalf is by far the best on the tube. Jay Leno and then a smattering of others. I like Hoovie ok, he's not too smarmy... most of the others I find way too childish, and just Hype ... I like Mike Borroughs who is on F chat... his is good if you really want to see technical stuff.

 

I enjoy them all except Schmee150.... that dude is annoying and weird. My dad has a buddy who has a wife that eerily looks, acts and sounds exactly like that dude.

Doug’s OK except when he gets things wrong he’s hard to forgive as it betrays and undermines his shtick and makes him loose credibility deeply. Because he “sells” it and should know better.

Ed’s cool. The Brit guys are all exceptionally annoying but tolerable and sometimes very good except Harry and Chris... they’re cool.

The 4’ guy who did the Black Ford GT review on the track was a good one.

 

I would also add in Ian Tyrrell's Garage. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, and experienced. It can be a bit slow at times, but I'm ok with that. I like Richard Hammond and James May from time to time they pop up with some interesting things... Tyrrells garage is mostly about more vintage Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other rare Italian exotica. but he does do British cars as well. I like that he knows his stuff, shows all the details, and drives them sensibly. Doug De Muro, is ok. I met him a long time ago, seems a nice guy, but his videos are a bit ... much. the chat show he does is better, but still hypes up too much stuff... I like the one episode of Late Brake show - Matt Farah, .... with Jerry Seinfeld it was good, you don't get to hear him talk about cars exclusively much.

 

The Schmee guy is wired to me. I don't like all the weird smiling, and hyper active stuff... Ed Bolian is a nice guy, but for me kind of flirts on an edge... I cant put my finger on it, but there is just something there... not saying its right or wrong, but not much for me.

 

I like several of the ones mentioned. Would add JayEmm and Seen through Glass.

 

I've grown to really like Mat Armstrong. Michael Schumachers son was on his last episode.

They're all massively annoying sans Harry.
