I think it was more of a business decision than a logical one. They hired one of the luckiest driver on the grid who had the pleasure of sitting and driving top machinery during his career to sell more merchandise and drive up the stock market. I still cannot fathom how and why they got rid of carlos sainz to settle for this billboard.
