Looking for a recommendation to get this watch serviced, getting a new dial for it, and sourcing the correct bracelet.

You can send to Rolex service center in either New York City or Dallas. The current dial and hands on your watch are original tritium which to collector adds value along with original bezel. Service center will give you option of keeping original ones or installing what they call service dial and hands. The same goes for bezel insert. These will have newer lume for better visibility at night as original tritium has lost its glow. If you go this route, Rolex will keep original ones. They can install a replacement bracelet. 20 years ago I had sub serviced with new dial and hands and it was around $1200. New bracelet probably close to $2000. Also Rolex will polish case if you want but collectors like unpolished as watch loses sharp edges.

Thank you so much - I was thinking for perhaps a boutique / none Rolex affiliation, shop that specializes in vintage Rolex restoration.

What part of the world are you in?

Have a guy local to me that I used for my Vacheron and an old, old watch that he custom cut a crystal for. He does beautiful work.

Here's a Rolex he worked on.

Unfortunately, he travels to Europe this time of year and won't be back until August, but does excellent, careful work.

If you want his contact info shoot me a PM.

Thank you just spoke to Rikki for about 45 minutes and I’m sending him two watches next week.

    I’m excited.
