agree that net zero insanity ruined euro cars. thank god we took it slower and now hopefully gone for a long time. euros just not allowed make a car as emotional as the z anymore
Congrats! I really need to put this on my list, wouldn't feel bad about parking it outside even....they just sell so many of them and still remember how bad Chevy service is.
I've been very happy with my dealerships service department. As I remarked earlier in this thread, I couldn't take delivery of my z until they removed the engine and replaced a bad fuel pressure sensor. They prioritized the job and I had the car within a week. With the exception of an erroneous code, the car has been flawless. To state the obvious, I think the key is to buy from a dealership that sells a lot of vettes. I'm fortunate in that mine sells more corvettes than the other dealerships in the area and has a dedicated vette service guy. FWIW, z06's are still a rare sighting around here. We spent the month of Feb in Palm Beach and Orlando and spotted only a couple of z06's. I actually saw more Ferraris and Lambos down there.
^^^ There are plenty of noticable differences between a Z06 and Stingray…different front fascia, different side intakes, wider body, center exhaust, etc.
I agree that looks play a major part in one's desire to own a car but, at least IMHO, if it's a great car I don't really care about other people's ability to differentiate it from other models of the same brand. I actually like to "fly under the radar" and not have my cars shout exclusivity. This is why my deep frozen green BMW M5CS is my favorite car. Almost no one knows what it is.
Only car people see differences. Otherwise a Porsche is a Porsche and a Vette is a Vette. So if that bothers you or matters to you then so be it. For those that say oh the Z06 looks different or a GT3 RS I would beg to differ. The far majority of people see the same car. It's the small minority of car people that can spot these differences. Fact.

After 2500 miles I continue to be amazed by my 2024 Z06. The 360 really peaked my interest in flat plane crank shaft engines. I still have and enjoy the 360. If you ever watch the YouTubes of the young engineers who designed the car their pride is so apparent and well deserved. My understanding is the 458 engine gave them a development starting point ? Be a long time before I part with this car .
There is no car I would straight trade z for. Not gt Porsche that sacrifices street driving for track prowess. Certainly no turbo hybrid exotic currently for sale. Not even a speciale that's too old and expensive now to use the way I use z. And don't see anything like z being made in future. It's the one for me
Got it to 500 miles so able rev it redline now. Still only went 6000 but amazing how balanced it feels. Chassis is not overwhelmed by the motor. Might be different thing at 8600 though. But the motor is so ferocious even well below redline. Very dramatic, theatrical, operatic is best I can describe it
My local dealership has a 2025 Hysteria Purple 1LZ with Carbon Buckets that they are starting at $15,000 off sticker. I was tempted as that is a lot of car for $100k but Chevy really failed on that Hysteria Purple.
I am only thinking track toy. But I was surprised what basic features that have been standard in cars for a decade the 1LZ is lacking.
I owned a C8 Z06 and currently own a 992 GT3 Touring Manual and a 992 GT3 RS. There’s no comparison, the C8 Z06 with the flat plane crank V8 is the best sounding exhaust note in the last several years.
