F8 Front wheel clicking sound

The question is will it throw a CEL if you disconnect the silly thing

 

don’t even know how to disconnect it or whether you can do it. Can you?

btw yesterday I drove it, put a bit of music on, and honestly after knowing what this is about, I just totally never minded it, pretty spontaneously. Maybe I’ll come back to bother me, but hopefully not. I just love everything about this car soooo much.

 

Have you watched the video posted on one of the previous messages? Have provided below...Clearly the clicking sound is coming from the wheel area not the frunk deadlocking system?

 

I have the same noise from my front passenger side wheel. Coming toward a stop or braking when have steering angle.
Have you find cause?

For me the sound was from the drive wheels (rear, duh) from the axle retention nut. The front wheels don't have an axle therefore it doesn't have this nut.

If OP's sound is actually coming from the front (honestly it's not easy to tell from inside the car) then it's from something else

 

Have the same knocking sound in trunk lock area on my 2022 f8! Only once when start moving and once just before a stop…
Is there any news how to fix the problem?

What's the trunk lock area?

My car 2021 F8 has a click/knock sound when almost stopped and dist starting to move. It sounds like the brake pads moving in the caliper Car runs fine brakes good no brake squealing and i forgot to bring this up at my service a few months ago.

 

Front bonnet locking mechanism. Looks like trunk locking actuator makes that knocking sound…
