Do the CF wheels last as long as forged wheels? Are they warrantied? If so, for how long? Ty!

I’m not sure how long they last compared to other wheels.

These are brand new, however I cannot warranty them myself.

I’ve sold my sets with no issues.

    Cheers, Mat

Are the offsets the same for 296 and the sf90?

No the SF90 are wider. I can get a set of those if needed.

    Per CHTGBT:

    Typical Lifespan
    • Carbon fiber wheels: ~5–10 years depending on usage, but may need replacement after a hard impact.
    • Forged aluminum wheels: ~10–20+ years with proper care.
Carbon wheels shine in performance applications like racing or supercars, where weight savings matter more than lifespan. For daily driving, especially in pothole-heavy areas, forged aluminum is more durable and cost-effective in the long run.

For a Ferrari 296, carbon fiber wheels are a legitimate performance upgrade, but whether they’re right for you depends on how you use the car.

Carbon Fiber Wheels on a Ferrari 296
    • Pros:
      • Up to 40% lighter than forged wheels — improves handling, acceleration, and braking.
      • Reduced unsprung mass = better suspension response.
      • Ferrari offers carbon wheels as a factory option (from Carbon Revolution), optimized for the car.
    • Cons:
      • Not ideal for rough roads or frequent street driving — more vulnerable to impact damage.
      • Expensive to replace — if one cracks, repair isn’t safe or recommended.
      • Shorter lifespan if you drive aggressively on imperfect roads.
Forged Wheels on a Ferrari 296
    • Pros:
      • Still lightweight and very strong — excellent for performance.
      • More resistant to road damage.
      • Easier and cheaper to repair or replace.
      • Better for mixed-use (street + occasional track).
    • Cons:
      • Slightly heavier, so you lose some edge in handling/response.
    Recommendation
    • Track-focused or weekend-only 296: Go carbon fiber.
    • Daily use, city roads, or spirited canyon drives: Forged wheels are more practical.
