For Carlos Sainz Jr, getting elbowed at Ferrari was a blessing in disguise, it seems.
Williams has greatly improved, and the Scuderia isn't doing so well overall this year.

Lewis outqualified by these chaps:

Tsunoda in RBR - 3 races
Hadjar - ROOKIE
Ocon - in a Haas with 6 races
Sainz - Williams with 6 races

 

sadly, I was being serious.
I'd bet on Lewis getting well into the points tomorrow, but neither driver was able to perform any qually miracles.
Charles at least was more rested, not having to drive the sprint race.

 

No doubt about it. Ferrari have an ill handing car that will require a lot of work to get in the right direction, and are probably out of championship contention this year.

But what's disgraceful are the fans demanded that the same team that took the WCC down to the wire last year, start sacking people after these struggles.

Ferrari fans and media are always wanting to burn a witch, and that's why they can't get ahead since the Schumi days. If Todt and Brawn were thrown in this environment, they'd be canned after two or three seasons if they didn't win a title.

 

Yes the SF cars are not doing well....but the "image" we have with the Instagram gen is doing awesome!
